Pimlico Plumbers multimillionaire Charlie Mullins and his fiancée Rachel “Ra-Ra” Leavesley were left stranded when they hit a clog and he crashed his Rolls Royce into a bollard.
The former boss and founder of the multi-million dollar plumbing empire said he tried to let another car pass for a bike race during the weekend’s traffic chaos caused by closures and diversions in London’s West End.
However, because the £450,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan, with its distinctive CH4RLE personalized number plate, failed to notice the bollard and drove over it, it became stuck and had to be removed with a tow truck.
‘I have taken [Ra-Ra] “I was on my way to an appointment on Dover Street and had to take a street as a lot of streets were closed to Ride London,” said 70-year-old Charlie.
“A jeep was coming in the opposite direction.” There were a few vehicles parked and I thought the gap would be a little tight so I walked over to let him through.

“The next thing I knew I was stuck on the bollard. Luckily I drove very slowly, otherwise the car could probably have shot up in the air.
“We tried to reverse but it got stuck!” The only thing we could do was call someone to collect the vehicle.
“We waited and it seemed to make people laugh that this Rolls Royce was stuck on a bollard.”
“The guy driving the jeep stopped to make sure we were okay and I told him everything was fine.”
“Eventually the tow truck arrived and we concluded that the scooter was not safe to drive.”
The couple ended up taking a cab home.

Worth an estimated £70million, Charlie has been philosophical about his expensive exposure to London’s street furniture.
“It’s going to Rolls Royce for repairs today so I don’t know what the damage will be.” It doesn’t seem too bad but it will probably cost a few pounds.
“I drive by there a couple of times a month and I’ve never noticed the bollard.” A man there said some motors were stuck on it.
“It’s a little annoying, but it is what it is!”
The entrepreneur has other things on his mind after popping the question to 32-year-old singer Rachel last year about what his third marriage will be.
The couple live together in a £10million flat by the Thames in London. Mullins sold Pimlico Plumbers last year and is now pursuing a career as a media personality
He said, “People these days recognize me by my hair and call me Rod (after Rod Stewart), which I don’t mind at all.”
Mullins just finished filming a pilot for a show called Naked Millionaire, in which he must build a business from scratch while possibly also planning a reality TV show starring him and his fiancée.
