DIVIDE, CO — The Teller County Sheriff’s Office and emergency responders are investigating reports of a plane crash Monday afternoon.
In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said the accident allegedly occurred in the Grandview Estates area near Divide, CO. The public is asked to avoid the area.
According to our on-site crew, a single-engine propeller plane was lying upside down in a field near Divide. According to the agency, the plane’s pilot and passenger were taken to a local hospital and their condition is unknown.
It is currently unclear what caused the crash.
