Police expect further disturbances in Leipzig

The police are expecting further disruptive actions in Leipzig and are continuing their work after the riots of the past few days. In a message, she also referred to a demonstration call for Sunday evening. On Saturday evening, after clashes with demonstrators, she surrounded around 1,000 people. The measures for this would have lasted until the morning hours, it was said: “Shortly after 5 a.m. the processing teams found the last identity.”

According to the information, about two dozen police officers were injured during the operations in the city, two of them were then no longer able to work. An exact number of people who were detained or arrested was not given.
