The shipment could earn organized crime more than 13 million reais
On Thursday night (08), on BR 101 in Torres, on the North Coast of the state, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) arrested a man carrying 110 kilos of cocaine base paste in the trunk of a Fiat Idea.

The apprehension took place during inspection on the state line, when the agents approached the vehicle from Caxias do Sul. The driver was a 32-year-old man from Tubarão. The police proceeded to check the car and found suitcases and bags with cocaine base paste tablets in the trunk that, according to the corporation, could earn organized crime more than R$ 13 million.
The driver told the police that he intended to take the drug from Tubarão/SC to the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. He had already been arrested last year by the PRF with drugs in Pelotas.
The man was arrested in flagrante delicto for drug trafficking and forwarded to the local judicial police along with the shipment of cocaine base paste.
