Pregnant Janette Manrara lovingly hugs her growing belly while donning a knitted dress

Pregnant Janette Manrara looked radiant as she enjoyed the baby moon in Slovenia on Tuesday night.

The 39-year-old It Takes Two host, who is expecting her first child with her Strictly Pro husband Aljaž Škorjanec, donned a cream knit dress while cradling her growing belly.

Gazing into the distance while standing in the scenic setting, she also added a pair of leggings to her ensemble.

Janette, who announced she was pregnant in February, wore her raven locks loosely slicked for the Instagram snap.

The star captioned her post: “Best days to rest and reboot before heading home to await the arrival of our little one.”

“Our trip in Slovenia isn’t over yet but this is our last night here at @chocolate_village_by_the_river and I’m still enjoying every second of it until the three of us come back soon.”

Janette and her husband Aljaž, to whom she has been married for six years, announced their happy baby news on Instagram in February.

Janette has an official photo of a Hello! with a caption. Spread Writing: “We are very excited to share our special news!”

In an accompanying interview, the Cuban-American choreographer detailed her pregnancy and admitted that she had struggled to conceive for more than two years, raising fears it might never happen.

“We haven’t used protection for the last few years, but nothing has happened, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us,” she explained.

“I’ll be 40 later this year and the NHS has really good services for women under 40. The doctor said we would start the injections as soon as I got my period but my period never came.”

“I know that IVF can be very taxing on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work. So it’s amazing to know that this little miracle just came out of a wonderful night we spent together.”

Aljaž added that he was “besides me” and hoped the baby would look more like Janette than him.

This comes after Janette admitted on BBC Morning Live in 2021 that it was a “scary decision” because her body as a dancer is her “tool”.

The ballroom champion said the coronavirus crisis made her realize there will never be a “perfect” time to conceive and the couple are now looking forward to becoming parents.
