He had imagined the commitment at his home club, where his father is honorary chairman, differently when he started his service there in the summer of this year. “It was supposed to be the last station in my career,” says the 36-year-old, who had previously coached and scored SV Erlingen and TSV Fischach from the A-class to the district class. Bröll was flabbergasted when, after the 4-0 win at SpVgg Bärenkeller II, to which he had contributed a hat-trick, there was a conversation in which he was told that the cooperation would end at the end of the season want to end. “It was only in winter that people really wanted to extend my stay.
