Things spiraled out of control when the attorney tried to sue her former employer for wrongful termination. Many people’s secrets have been exposed and their personal lives set on fire, but will there still be credible contenders when it’s all settled for another season of the show?
That’s all we know about the upcoming second season of Queenmaker.
Will there be a second season of Queenmaker on Netflix?
As of this writing, there has been no announcement from Netflix that Queenmaker will be renewed for a second season.
Nothing out of the ordinary here. When it comes to Korean dramas, Netflix has two main approaches. They often release the whole thing at once or two episodes a week. The Glory is one of the few examples where a single season is split into many sections.
Queenmaker season 2 has been postponed due to the epidemic.
Possible reasons for the delay include the pandemic, but if all goes according to plan this time, Queenmaker season 2 could premiere Spring or Summer 2024.
Queenmaker season 2 release date
The success or failure of Queenmaker’s first season on the streaming service may have an impact on whether or not a second season will be produced. Therefore, it is currently impossible to estimate a release date.
Queenmaker season 2 has not yet been greenlit. However, the wait will be long even if the show is revived for a second season. Once Netflix renews the series and production begins, we’ll announce a new estimated release date.

Queenmaker Season 1 ending explained
Kyung Sook and Jae Min are arguing about something when they learn that Ji Yeon has died. Jae Min is willing to put the blame on Kyung Sook, but all she said in response is that they should wait until they have more evidence before making any definitive conclusions.
Do Hee, who has reason to believe Ji Yeon has been kidnapped, is currently tracking the car she believes she was kidnapped in.
Ji Yeon is rescued after a fight that lasts all night and injures many people, including Dong Joo. The next day, after Ji Yeon regains consciousness, she publicly confesses her affair, her pregnancy, and Jae Min’s attempt on her life. But that’s not all.
Kyung Sook also takes this opportunity to talk about I Seul. Did Hee find it strange that on the day of I Seul’s death all CCTV footage of the building had been erased?
The surveillance footage from the other building showed that just as Seul was jumping to his death, Jae Min casually exited the building. This had made Do Hee realize that there was more to the story than meets the eye. When Ji Yeon finally joins them, she gives them Seul’s phone and other personal items that she had been hiding all along. The last conversation between I Seul and Jae Min was recorded on this mobile device.
She insisted he apologize to her in front of the world, but he just couldn’t do it. He had thrown her off the building in a fit of rage. This tape was recorded in modern times and Kyung Sook is broadcasting it on her YouTube channel to reveal the truth about Jae Min to the public.
That’s more than enough for Kyung Sook to become Seoul’s new mayor. Jae Min is not only devastated by his loss, but also by the news that Carl Yoon’s false corruption allegations against his father drove him to suicide. The Chairwoman has decided that she would not allow Jae Min to tear down the family with him, so she sends an assassin to assassinate him while he drinks away his grief. But despite her best efforts, she underestimated Do Hee’s determination.
