Police are searching five apartments in connection with the shooting in Stuttgart

Police have set up the special commission “Runaway” to identify the perpetrators of the Zuffenhausen shooting. A man almost died there on the street.

Stuttgart area. The police in the Stuttgart area are now very active in clarifying the series of shots. There had been shootings in Esslingen-Mettingen, on the Fildern, Göppingen, Reichenbach and now also in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. A 32-year-old man was hit several times by live ammunition in front of a shisha bar, he was in mortal danger but could now be saved. Namely on March 17 at around 9.10 p.m. Two rival groups had turned on each other.

The special commission “Runaway” was founded – the name based on the escape of the shooters after the shooting in Zuffenhausen. Five apartments in Stuttgart, Renningen and Ditzingen were searched. Suspects in the shooting live here. More than 100 police forces were deployed. Five suspects were found and released after the operation. No suspicious traces have yet been discovered.

Connections between the shootings in the entire Stuttgart area are now being examined further.
