Vanderpump Rules Star, Rachel Levisschecked herself into a mental health facility following the aftermath of their months-long affair Tom Sandoval made public in March.
According to a Page Six insider, Raquel has been at the facility “for a while” and it’s not a quick fix, as the source added: “It’s not short-term. It’s a long-distance program.”
According to sources, at her family’s urging, Raquel had “decided before the relationship[zwischen ihr und Sandoval]was discovered she was about to enter a voluntary mental health counseling facility,” per Entertainment Tonight.
The source added that Raquel was originally scheduled to be admitted prior to treatment Vanderpump Rules Seen again in Season 10, but decided that she first had to fulfill her obligation to Bravo, who seemed aware of Raquel’s intention to seek treatment.
“She was supposed to leave before the reunion but decided she wanted to end her filming commitment,” the source explained. “Bravo and the production were aware and supportive of her journey to better mental health.”
Raquel’s rep made it absolutely clear that Raquel was not seeking treatment for substance abuse.
When news of the affair broke, Raquel made the following statement.
“I’m reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor, and learning things about myself like my patterns of codependency and addiction to being loved and feeling loved,” her statement read. “I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are unhealthy, with no regard for my own well-being, sometimes negative impacts on others, and often I have prioritized the intimate connections over my friendships.”
