The executive director of Red Bull Bragantino, Thiago Scuro, is the name chosen by Monaco, from France, to be responsible for the football department from next season, replacing Paul Mitchell, who will leave the position.
The choice is up to Mitchell himself, who knows Scuro closely, having worked at RB Leipzig.
Previously, Mitchell was a recruiter for Southampton and Tottenham. He helped discover or sign the likes of Dell and Ali and South Korean Son.
Scuro did similar work at Red Bull Brasil and then at Red Bull Bragantino, signing players like Artur, Léo Ortiz and Claudinho, who left semi-anonymity to call up for the Brazilian national team.
Also for sales abroad, like Claudinho, or to Brazil, like Artur, one of the ten most expensive purchases in the history of Brazilian clubs.
