Botafogo will have the reinforcement of Diego Hernández from July. The Uruguayan, who was at Montevideo Wanderers-URU, is already in Rio de Janeiro and started work with the alvinegro squad. The midfielder stated that his goal is to quickly adapt to Brazilian football.
“I know that Botafogo is a big club, but it’s also a family club and I liked that, it was the closest thing to Wanderers in that sense and that’s also why we advanced. I hope I do well”, he began in an interview with ESPNfrom Uruguay.
“It’s a big adaptation because Brazilian football is modern football, very dynamic and with many matches, but I’ll try to adapt well, consolidate myself, play and do my best”, he concluded.
Botafogo should not stop only with the arrival of Hernández. The club from Rio is close to confirming midfielder Matías Rojas, from Racing-ARG.
