The story revolves around a dangerous love triangle that arises when the enigmatic Anna Barton (Charlie Murphy) begins a passionate affair with the father of her fiancé William (Richard Armitage). As Anna struggles to maintain both relationships, William slips into an obsessive spiral. But how long can they keep their secret before someone gets hurt?

“When a project like this comes your way, there are a lot of people trying to warn you and say, ‘It’s going to be challenging, it’s going to be very revealing, and there’s going to be a lot of intimacy.’ But I thought, ‘It’s okay.’ I’m going to approach it like a European, how the French approach cinema, see their perspective on the human body and their perspective on relationships and intimacy.” Richard told Hello.

“My attitude is ‘It’s the body, it’s the human body.’ Just be a little laissez-faire. If you’re uncomfortable, it’s your problem. Don’t be uncomfortable about it,” he said. “We worked with an amazing intimacy coordinator named Adelaide Waldrop. I think people see the intimacy coordinator as the emergency police, but she had a more directing perspective to support Glenn and Lisa as directors. She was a kind of director, psychologist and choreographer. It opened doors and places for us to go and explore without inhibitions, with everyone involved in the process and with everyone not only feeling comfortable but also kind of excited about what we were about to try and do .”
