The 7th edition of Circos – Festival Internacional Sesc de Circo will host ten international shows in São Paulo. The Circus Baobá group, from Guinea, will open the event, with the acrobatic performance “Yé – Água”, which addresses environmental issues, gender violence and social inequality.
RIGGING
It is the first time that the African country performs at the festival, which will also receive shows from Togo, Hungary, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Belgium, France, Germany and the United States, in addition to 11 performances by Brazilian groups.

Circos will take place between the 16th and 25th of June, in 12 Sescs units in São Paulo and Guarulhos.

The founder of the artist collective Avaf (Assume Vivid Astro Focus), Eli Sudrack, received guests last week at the opening of the exhibition “Absolutely Fantastical Vivid Changes”. The visual arts manager at Sesc-SP, Juliana Braga de Mattos, and visual artist Lenora de Barros attended the event held at Sesc Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo. Stylist Dudu Bertholini also stopped by. The show is a retrospective of 20 years of work by Avaf.
