On Tuesday between 7:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., the Backnang traffic police carried out a stationary large-scale inspection with the objectives of “speed” and “commercial goods and passenger traffic” at the Karlshof car park on the B 328. A total of 45 violations were found in a total of 38 vehicles checked.
These included 15 violations of the prescribed driving and rest times, eight violations of load securing, four speeding violations and four drivers used their mobile phones while driving. In addition, administrative offense proceedings were initiated due to technical defects in the vehicles and other violations. A driver was forbidden to continue driving, a vehicle was immobilized and a total of more than 1000 euros in security deposits were collected.
