The Ludwigsburg police station is investigating a 34-year-old man who is suspected of illegally dealing in narcotics in Ludwigsburg. At first, the exact whereabouts of the man could not be located. Last Thursday, however, the investigators tracked down the 34-year-old.
In the course of this, an apartment in which the suspect was suspected should be checked.
When two policewomen were on their way to this address at around 6:00 p.m. on Friday, they discovered the 34-year-old man riding a bicycle along Schorndorfer Strasse into town.
Several emergency services were then brought together. A patrol car crew from the police dog handler squadron of the police headquarters in Ludwigsburg then temporarily arrested the suspect without resistance.
He was then taken to the Ludwigsburg police station and searched. In his backpack, the man had a total of several hundred grams of a large number of different drugs that had probably already been pre-portioned for sale, a low three-digit amount of cash and various sales and consumption utensils.
Following the arrest, searches of the apartment were carried out, which revealed no small quantity of other narcotics, packaging material and a grow cabinet that is believed to have been used to grow cannabis.
Among other things, the investigators seized several hundred grams of amphetamine, less than a hundred grams each of marijuana and cocaine as well as LSD, the assignment of which to the alleged owners is the subject of the ongoing investigation.
At the request of the public prosecutor’s office in Stuttgart, the 34-year-old Turkish national was brought before the magistrate at the district court in Waiblingen on Saturday, who issued an arrest warrant for illegal trafficking in narcotics in large quantities, put it into effect and assigned the suspect to a correctional facility. The investigations are ongoing.
