The first reactions to Marvel’s Secret Invasion have arrived

With all the hubbub surrounding Marvel’s output, and “superhero fatigue” in general, the studio seems to have taken a step back to assess the noise. As such, the rush to produce more MCU projects has slowed, and there are rumors and rumors behind the scenes that suggest some planned shows and films will take a different form or maybe be put on hold for a while.

Not many of us know the truth about these internal conversations, despite the things certain leakers will tell you with roar and confidence. But we do know that at one point Marvel had planned to release a few projects on Disney+ this year and now there are only three official shows left on the calendar, one of which is: echowhich will probably be dropped on the streamer this November in a rather addictive format.

But before echo And Loki Season 2 comes out later in 2023, we’ll get six episodes of it Secret invasionwhich has been touted as a more mature series overseen by one of the lead writers of the complex US conspiracy thriller series Mister Robot. The themes of invasion seems a good fit, as this Marvel offering focuses on a conspiracy between a group of shape-shifting Skrulls trying to infiltrate Earth into positions of power around the world, and the only man who could possibly stand in their way: Nicholas Joseph Fury.

Jackson reprises his role as Fury in Secret invasion After numerous and often brief MCU appearances, and the opportunity to spend more time with the former director of SHIELD, was a big part of the appeal of the upcoming series. We’re also going to have more Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), more James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), more Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), and more Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) in this film, and some other big names have been added to the cast in Olivia Colman (The favourite) And game of Thrones Star Emilia Clarke.
