West Ham went top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over new-boys Luton at Kenilworth Road.
The Hammers took the lead in the 37th minute when Lucas Paqueta delivered a superb cross into the back post for Jarrod Bowen to head home.
Zouma doubled West Ham’s lead with a powerful header from a corner by James Ward-Prowse.
Luton go within touching distance as Mads Andersen scored with a close-range header which proved to be just a consolation.
Mail Sport’s KIERAN GILL takes a look at some of things you may have missed.

LUTON’S AMUSING CHANTS
West Ham and their bubbles. Jarrod Bowen and his girlfriend. Kurt Zouma and his cat. Luton’s fans took aim at anything they could in their chants.
Fair to say there were a few comedians in the crowd at Kenilworth Road.
Oh, and West Ham fan James Corden was here, too. Bowen had the last laugh, scoring the opener from Lucas Paqueta’s cross. Then Zouma was giggling, too, as he headed home their second.

DEADLINE DAY SIGNINGS FOR WEST HAM
Fear not, West Ham fans, for Mail Sport understands your club made at least one deadline day signing. Though it was not announced, you are believed to have secured Andy Irving from SK Austria Klagenfurt.
The Scottish midfielder, 23, is being loaned straight back to the Austrian side. The details were being fine-tuned last night as sources said this represents the start of a partnership between the two clubs, whereby Klagenfurt act as a ‘feeder club’.
Meanwhile, another transfer we can reveal is Mark Robson, the former West Ham midfielder, has been promoted from manager of the Under 23s to assistant coach of the first team. Wolves wanted Robson to join them, but West Ham acted to make sure the 54-year-old born in Upton Park stays.

MOYES’ PRE-MATCH ANNOYANCE
The best line from David Moyes’ pre-Luton presser was his anger at West Ham playing on deadline day.
However, Mail Sport has learned Sky Sports took the decision to ignore those comments, given they were responsible for this Premier League fixture taking place on the night when the window closed. That is despite their own reporter asking Moyes the question.

LOW POSSESSION ENCOUNTER
Luton and West Ham had averaged the lowest possessions in the Premier League this season. In the battle of ‘the ball is a hot potato’, it was the visitors who kept hold of it more.
BOOKMAKERS SUSPEND PAQUETA BETS
Mail Sport can reveal Britain’s biggest bookmakers have suspended betting on Lucas Paqueta being booked.
Mail Sport has been told that at least six major high street firms – including West Ham’s shirt sponsor Betway – have withdrawn the Paqueta yellow card market on legal advice.
The sudden move has been described by industry sources as a short-term measure to protect bookies following Mail Sport’s revelation that the Football Association are investigating suspicious betting activity surrounding bookings received by Paqueta, which led to the collapse of an £85million transfer to Manchester City this summer.

BOWEN IS ON FIRE!
3 – Jarrod Bowen is the first West Ham player to score in each of their opening three away games in the top flight since Vic Watson in 1930. Strange that Gareth Southgate excluded him from his latest England squad.
JOHNSON WATCHES FROM THE STAND
Ben Johnson was not named in West Ham’s squad last night amid links with other clubs including Southampton. But the 23-year-old full back was spotted at Kenilworth Road checking his phone as time ticked on towards the 11pm deadline.
