The chapter opens on the ninth floor, where Will Jaewan has finally made it. When Samyung Hoon, the strategist for the ninth region, saw Jaewan, he was visibly displeased. Jaewan’s clothes were a disarray, and Samyung Hoon could feel impure energy emanating from him—a remnant of the solitary monarch. He doesn’t understand why the lone king would have spared the lives of other people like him. However, he eventually develops feelings for Jaewan and engages in a private battle with him behind a barricade. He invites Jaewan to come along, but Jaewan shows little interest. As a result, Samyung Hoon reintroduced him to his past.
What To Expect
Jaewan, in chapter 86, is not the type of guy who will work under a crazy bastard like Samyung Hoon, thus he is likely to deny Samyung Hoon’s request to come under the 9th region and to deliver the “Tower of Awakening” that he constructed.
