The girls campfire had some moments that really burned for almost all of them. They were nervous walking in, and their nervousness only got worse as everyone watched a video of what their significant other was up to.
Temptation Island host Mark L. Walberg reminded her, “Campfires are where we confront things. It’s the place to get a glimpse of what’s happening on the other side of the island.”
Seeing what their significant others are doing around the campfire is a hard blow for them
Kaitlin went first. She could watch as Hall spoke to Makayla about knowing there was something missing in his relationship and realized that while he was on the island.
“He already broke up with me. why come back to me Why propose to me?” she asked through tears. It looks like she’s starting to realize that it might not work out for her in the long run.
Paris, too, was something of a wake-up call when it came to their relationship. She watched as Great said he was going to change his attitude towards being a single guy and then she saw something she wasn’t quite ready for – Great licking whipped cream off some girls and then nafeesah him in bed. She said she’s embarrassed but thinks Great might feel the same way once he sees what she’s up to.
Next came Marisela. She saw Chris and Alexius sitting together in the hammock and he was talking to Nafeesah about Alexius and saying some pretty DIFFICULT things to hear. She said that was really what she wanted to see.
“I just want him to find that person to fill in his boxes because I just don’t feel like it’s me,” she explained. “I’m no longer here to please anyone or ask for validation.”
She explained that she was actually relieved and you could see it all over her face.
“I’m happier every day and every day I get closer to who I want to be,” she said. “I’m so happy.”
Vanessa was the last to see what her better half was up to. She saw a clip of Rob talking about hearing her say she lowered her standards to be with him, but he realized he was the one who actually lowered his standards. Then she saw him making out with Desiree on the couch.
“It’s the courage and the boldness,” she said. “Say less.”
She then lost her mind over the make-out session, saying she was “just so disappointed.”
Walberg reminded all the ladies that “TI” is intense.
“Temptation Island is extreme. It’s rocky, it’s scary and it hurts,” he said. “And you get the love you didn’t know you deserved, and that starts with yourself.”
The aftermath of the campfire is still burning
After the campfire, the girls went back to their villa, where a spa day awaited the boys. At the men’s mansion, the girls had prepared shots and were ready. And then the tears started to flow.
Great said it bothered him to see Paris and Tahjicc having sex, but he didn’t even have to say it because it was written all over his face. He broke down in tears and said he was “done with Paris”.
Chris told Alexius that he was no longer in a relationship and also broke down.
Rob and Desiree went to the couch to chat and he had a bit of a meltdown talking about how Vanessa drained him.
Hall also had a bit of a meltdown and ended up telling Makayla that she is what he was looking for.
It looks like all four relationships will never be the same as when they first arrived on the island.
At the girls’ mansion, Marisela and Kristian let loose, which of course caused the Temptation Light to glow in the men’s mansion. The men agreed that they were “good gentlemen” and at least were not the first to get off.
More dates…
Great and Nafeesah had another date and things got really hot for the two of them at their pickup truck picnic. When it started to rain, they retreated to the truck where the rain wouldn’t fog up the windows. Before their intense kissing session, they both agreed that they only want each other, so it looks like they’re on the way to eventually becoming a couple.
Chris and Alexius also had another date. He revealed to her that there is a natural vibe between them.
“Whenever I’m with Chris I feel like I can be open now. I can make myself comfortable,” she said.
While Kaitlin is confused between two men, she has dated Mike and said she’s trying to keep an open mind to see where things might go with him.
Hall and Makayla are definitely growing closer.
“I have a feeling that I’ve never felt before,” she said. “It would be hard to walk away and not have you in my life.”
She used the word “soul mate” when speaking to Hall and that seemed to be all he needed to hear to know things were going in a way he’s looking forward to.
“Makayla said soulmate; It hit my soul very quickly,” he said. “Basically, she’s telling me she’s falling in love with me, and I can see that.”
It seems that both villas are now on shaky ground with the people they came to the island with and that new connections are fully forming. Who do you think will ultimately leave the island with a new partner?
