Three men, ages 23 to 43, have been arrested in the viral gym attack on rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.

After years of taunting his peers and bragging about betraying his co-defendants, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s trolling path caught up with him. While the colorful haired rapper was working out at a South Florida gym, he was brutally beaten by three men. In the now-viral video, Tekashi was left bloodied as gym staff tried to help him to safety. Subsequently, his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, revealed plans to contact federal authorities to provide Tekashi with adequate protection. However, despite the beating and advice, the rapper has insisted he won’t get any security. Also, he believes the attack was just a rare scenario that won’t happen again.

According to NBC Miami, authorities have arrested three men in connection with the attack. Rafael Medina Jr., 43; Octavius Medina, 23; and Anthony Maldonado, 25, were arrested for hitting Tekashi at an LA gym on March 21. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office charged the men with assault and robbery. Slamming a former federal asset and posting it on the internet for clout was probably not the wisest decision. We can assume the rapper will have no problem working with the police to put these men behind bars.
