On Monday, special units from the police headquarters in Möglingen provisionally arrested three other people who are suspected of having been involved in the alleged completed and the alleged attempted homicide on Saturday in Asperg. On the night of Saturday, an 18-year-old was fatally shot and a peer was seriously injured.
The suspects are two 17-year-old male teenagers and a 27-year-old man.
The arrests and subsequent search measures took place on Monday and were supported, among other things, by the police dog handler squadron of the Ludwigsburg police headquarters.
At the request of the public prosecutor’s office in Stuttgart, the three people were brought before the responsible magistrate on Tuesday. He issued arrest warrants for manslaughter and attempted manslaughter against the two 17-year-olds and the 27-year-old Turkish national, carried them out and assigned the suspects to various prisons.
According to previous investigations by the special commission “Goethe”, a local conflict could have led to the crime.
The police headquarters in Ludwigsburg increased presence measures in Asperg immediately after the crime and will continue to do so until further notice.
