Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey ‘earns six-figure book deal on her journey with grief’

Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey, reportedly landed a six-figure book deal on How to Cope with Grief a year after Tom’s death.

The mother-of-two, 32, sadly lost Tom to cancer in March 2022. However, she hopes that her new book, which tells of her journey as a widow, will help others in the same situation.

A source told The Sun: “It’s a huge six figure deal but Kelsey has written it for other people in her position – it will be documenting her life after losing Tom.”

The source added, “She will speak openly about the dark times she faced, her struggles, and the guilt she felt when she met someone.” She hopes it can help others as well who are lost their partner at a young age.”

MailOnline has reached out to a Kelsey representative for comment.

The book deal came after Kelsey faced backlash last year when it was revealed she had found love again with builder Sean Boggans after losing the father of her two children.

However, Kelsey insisted at the time that The Wanted singer encouraged her to find love again.

While filming her reality TV show, Kelsey also attended a widows’ group at a local pub and was asked if she should continue.

To which she replied, “We didn’t really have those conversations, but knowing Tom, I have a feeling he would be happy for me.” He just wanted me to be happy. And I’m so young.’

One of the widows in the group then assured Kelsey that Tom wants her to “live a full life.”

Kelsey split from boyfriend Sean after five months together.

March was a “difficult” month for Kelsey as she celebrated the first anniversary since her husband Tom’s tragic death from cancer.

Tom died of stage four glioblastoma brain cancer on March 30, 2022 at the age of 33, having been given 12 months to live when diagnosed in October 2020.

Regarding her alleged breakup with Sean, a source told The Sun, “Kelsey has ended her relationship with Sean and is focused on herself and the kids.”

“The anniversary of Tom’s death last month was incredibly difficult. Being alone is best for Kelsey at this point.

“After Tom died, Kelsey devoted himself to work and the kids. But as Tom’s anniversary neared, she realized how much she was struggling and decided to end it with Sean.

“Kelsey has the support of her family and friends and is trying to stay alert for the kids.”

It comes after Kelsey was last pictured with Sean on Valentine’s Day.

It was revealed in November last year that Kelsey was dating Sean about eight months after the death of her husband Tom.

The couple were introduced by friends at a wedding in London’s Greenwich last October.

Sean spent time behind bars after fatally beating 44-year-old Shaun McDermott during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, Essex.

He was waiting for his then-girlfriend to pick him up when he got into an argument with Shaun, who was thrown to the ground during the skirmish. CCTV footage later showed the electrician exiting the scene.

Shaun was discovered by police around 1am lying on the sidewalk with a brain hemorrhage. A post-mortem found he died from head injuries and Boggans was sentenced to four years in prison by a judge at the Old Bailey.

He had been drinking with two of his sisters, Maureen and Kathy, at the nearby Wheatsheaf pub before heading home.

Kelsey’s rep was contacted by MailOnline at the time for comment.

Last month Kelsey celebrated the first anniversary since Tom’s death from brain cancer and took to Instagram to share a tribute to her late husband.

On that day, she shared a sweet photo of herself and Tom and captioned the snap: “A year without you ❤️ forever my soulmate.”

The next day, she also shared a video on Instagram of herself and her two children visiting a bank with a plaque commemorating Tom.

Kelsey shared a glimpse of how her family spent this emotional day and thanked loved ones and fans for their support during this difficult time.

She wrote: “Thank you everyone for the lovely messages and comments yesterday. I can’t respond to all of them, but they mean so much to me.”

“We had a quiet day visiting his bank and celebrating our love for Tom.” “This year has been so hard but your support really helped me get through it, thank you so much.”

In March, Kelsey also celebrated her first birthday without Tom and posted a touching picture to Instagram, taken just before his final tour with The Wanted.

She accompanied her post with a tearful caption about celebrating her birthday without him for the first time, describing it as “another first” after his loss.

She wrote: “A year ago Tom wanted to tour for the last time (not that we know).

“I was hopeful, but I also knew the tour would be tough; It was something he had to do and for him I’m so glad he got to do it again.

“I didn’t think at the time that I would see my first birthday without him.” Another first. We’re almost done with the first places but I’m not sure if that will make a difference.

“This isn’t what we planned or hoped for, but it’s where we are and we’re moving on, enjoying all we can and living the life we ​​have.”

Kelsey and Tom were together for around 13 years. They announced their engagement in 2016 and were married in a romantic ceremony in Surrey in 2018.
