On Wednesday evening around 9.05 p.m. there was a traffic accident on the Wittlinger Steige. As two ducks were crossing the road, a 24-year-old driver braked her VW hard near the fish ponds. A subsequent 29-year-old recognized this too late and drove up with his BMW. The impact triggered the airbags in the rear vehicle.

It then had to be towed away. Total damage to both vehicles amounted to around 15,000 euros. Luckily nobody was injured. The roadway was closed on one side while the accident was being recorded. The Bad Urach fire brigade was also on site with two vehicles.
