CENTENNIAL, Colorado — Two people were killed and a deputy injured in a two-vehicle collision in Arapahoe County on Wednesday.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Broncos Parkway and South Blackhawk Street.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Colorado State Patrol. The passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died from her injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Deputy, was injured in the accident and taken to the hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.
The identities of the driver and passenger who died will be released at a later date.
Troopers are conducting the investigation and will release more information as it becomes available.
