Unknown hits five million euro jackpot at bingo

The largest prize in the more than 25-year history of the environmental lottery Bingo goes to the district of Diepholz. There, on Sunday, a still unknown player cracked the maximum jackpot of five million euros, as Lotto Lower Saxony announced on Monday. The winner had bought his lottery ticket on the Internet on the Thursday before the drawing. The chances of hitting the jackpot in bingo are also low – according to Lotto Niedersachsen, the probability of hitting the jackpot is around 1 in 1.3 million.
