Walker informs Guardiola about intention to move to Bayern

Manchester. England international Kyle Walker is said to have informed his current club, Manchester City, that he wants to join Bayern Munich.

As the TV channel Sky reports, the 33-year-old spoke to the coach of the Champions League winner, Pep Guardiola, and personally informed him that he wanted to join the German record champions.

Last Friday, the defender is said to have already given Munich his commitment to a change. According to reports, he should sign in Munich for two years until 2025 and get an option for another season. According to Sky, Bayern now want to make a first offer, speculating about a transfer fee of 15 million euros plus bonus payments.

However, it is unlikely that both clubs will agree on a transfer before the start of FC Bayern’s Asia trip to Tokyo and Singapore on July 24th. Walker is currently on his way to the training camp in Japan with the English champions. In Tokyo there is also a preparatory game between Bayern and City.
