What happened to the cast of Star Trek: Voyager?

Though Harry Kim – played by Garrett Wang – never rose in rank and always remained a low-level ensign, he often played a pivotal role in defeating many of the enemies the garrison would face in the Delta Quadrant. However, when Star Trek: Voyager left the airwaves, Wang jumped around, with arguably his biggest role coming in the 2005 miniseries Into the West, produced by Steven Spielberg. He has continued to embrace his role as Ensign Kim by appearing at many fan conventions where he has found a whole new calling.

From 2010 Kim started a career as an event presenter and acted as master of ceremonies at this year’s FedCon (a science fiction conference in Germany). He later served as Trek Track Director at the acclaimed Dragon Con event held annually in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout his new career, Wang has hosted and hosted panels and events at major pop culture conventions in Montreal, Edmonton, Phoenix and Denver. According to Wang, his biggest role as a presenter came at the 2012 Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, where he interviewed the legendary Stan Lee.

In 2020, Wang teamed up with co-star Robert Duncan McNeill to launch The Delta Flyers, a podcast discussing classic episodes of Star Trek: Voyager.
