Despite his resilience, the leader’s health remained fragile, and he was airlifted to Chennai once again after experiencing discomfort during the state budget session in March 2023. Tragically, Jagannath Mahto’s health took a turn for the worse, and he passed away on 6th April 2023, at MGM Healthcare in Chennai, following multiple organ failures.
