Earlier this year, the judge gave prison terms ranging from 14 months to five years to four of McCaughey’s co-defendants. McCaughey’s attorneys asked for a one-year prison term. They stated that McCaughey’s “misunderstanding” of the 2020 presidential election was what drove his “reprehensible” behaviour.
