“I wasn’t obese, but during my first pregnancy I gained a lot of weight,” she said in a social media post. “After the pregnancy, I had a very big depression and I reached 264 pounds.” Jardim initially considered getting a tummy tuck but passed it off, opting instead to consume herbal products.
Along with exercising and fasting, she experienced extensive weight loss and then underwent five surgeries to remove the excess skin that remained. She eventually opened her own store in the Baixada Fluminense region, where she sold weight loss products.
