Once again, the well-known Bonstetter rider Wolfgang Puschak managed to get one of the coveted starting permits for the international CSIO Mannheim. Previous good performances spoke for themselves.
As one of the first starters at the Maimarkt Championships, an international show jumping competition, the Swabian presented: his bay gelding Number One remained faultless and took the lead with a brilliant round. But a total of 60 riders from all over the world were at the start, so we just had to wait and see. After about half of the starters, Puschak’s victory was prevented by none other than the Swiss European team champion Elian Baumann. And now the hunt was truly on. Could it be even faster? After all, this jumping was a qualifying test for the “Badenia”, the Grand Prix of Mannheim.
