The victim arrived in serious condition and could not resist the injuries, having the death confirmed in the early morning of this Saturday (13).
On the night of this Friday (12), around 10:30 pm, a 30-year-old woman, from Farroupilha, was shot on Rua José Perini, almost at the corner of Rua Cristiano Ramos de Oliveira, near the JA mechanic, in the Desvio neighborhood Rizzo, in Caxias do Sul. According to information from the Military Brigade incident report, the victim was inside a white Fiat/Palio vehicle, when a black car, still unidentified, stopped alongside and fired several gunshots.

The woman was hit by two shots in the chest area, while her companion, who was in the passenger seat, was not hit and took over the direction of the vehicle, taking her to the Pompéia Hospital. Unfortunately, the victim arrived in serious condition and could not resist the injuries, having the death confirmed by the health institution in the early morning of this Saturday (13).
With this crime, the city of Caxias do Sul has already recorded 38 homicides in 2023, the third being only in the month of May.
