Werder Bremen striker Marvin Ducksch can imagine a move to Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. “That was always my heart club,” said the native of Dortmund on Wednesday. “If you had the opportunity to play there, it would definitely be a dream come true.” According to media reports, there are numerous interested parties for the Werder striker – Borussia Dortmund is said to be among them.
The 29-year-old had gone through the youth teams of Borussia Dortmund and switched to FC St. Pauli in the summer of 2016. His contract with Werder Bremen runs until the summer of 2024, but includes an exit clause for a fee of around 7.5 million euros.
Ducksch before Werder departure? “Anything can happen in football”

Ducksch has already scored twelve goals and prepared six goals this season. However, it is unclear whether he will also wear the Werder jersey in the coming season. “The club is in contact with my advisors,” said Ducksch. “Everything else will show up then.” First of all, the focus should be on the upcoming games.
Werder Bremen is in twelfth place in the table after 31 match days. A win at RB Leipzig on Sunday (5.30 p.m. / DAZN) would guarantee Bremen relegation. (dpa/dv)
