Usher uses Beyonce to play an epic April Fool’s joke

Usher had the best April Fool’s joke, and he entertained his Dreamville Fest fans well after telling them he had a special surprise guest, Beyoncé, who would be joining him.

Celebrities tried to pull off their best April Fools pranks, with DDG apparently hinting that Halle Bailey might be pregnant, while Angela Simmons jumped out with a full pregnant belly and hinted that she and Yo Gotti were expecting a baby.

Fans are used to the succinct jokes, and reactions were definitely suspicious of the announcements coming on April 1st instead of any other day. However, Usher has come up with a unique prank that has definitely wowed his fans. During his performance at Dreamville, where he was headlining, the “Burn” artist told adoring fans he had a surprise for them — that Beyoncé would eventually join him on stage.

“I don’t know if you guys listened to some of the interviews I did before the show but I said I have a special surprise for you guys tonight, wanna know what the surprise is? Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, put your hands together for the one, the only, Beyoncé,” Usher proclaimed as the screaming fans went wild with excitement.

The artist pulled the prank on fans, who were none the wiser when he was even spotted allegedly waving at Beyoncé from the stage. As fans kept screaming, the artist let the cat out of the bag when he told them, “April Fool’s Day.”

Fans were no doubt disappointed in the joke, but they were good sport about it. Still, they were treated to an extraordinary performance from Usher, and later the R&B singer even brought rap duo City Girls along when they performed their track “Good Love.”

Artists at this year’s Dreamville Festival included Sean Paul, Summer Walker, Burna Boy and Glorilla.
